Alice took this photo while listening to the guide describe the history of the Staatsbrucke or the “State Bridge” in Salzburg, Austria. This most important and most prominent bridge in Salzburg links the Old Town (“Alstadt”) on both sides of the Salzach River, the main river of Salzburg. The two towers that can be seen from the distance are the tower of St. Peter’s Church (left) and the clock tower of the Residenz Neugebaude (right). The small white tower at the centre is the town tower of Timelkam. (Photo taken using Olympus E-PL1 , 14-42mm lens)
