We are Jun and Alice, Pinoy expats in the Midde East. We are teachers by profession, teaching college technology students of IT and Engineering.  (Jun is more into Computer Engineering and Educational Technology, while Alice is into Databases and Applied IT.) We share a passion for travel and adventure, and we usually travel during major college breaks, which is about two or three times a year. Our trips vary in length – from a week to a month – and of course, we always bring with us our three kids – River, Rain and Ash – whom we are homeschooling, for more flexible schedules.

We plan on travelling to and visiting Europe and the Americas, do a deeper exploration of Asia and the Middle East, and even experience a few authentic safaris in Africa, and we hope to share all our experiences with you through these pages. As we plan and do our trips just like any other Asian family, we hope to give you a glimpse of Asian travel adventures on this website.

On these pages, we’ll share with you our experiences as we travel the Asian way. We’ll share with you travel tips as we experience them to give you inside information on budget accommodation, fare, food, and everything. We’ll show you how our family of five experience the joys of travel – new places, different cultures, unique customs, interesting people – one work break at a time.
